Our client, a well-established firm specializing in group benefits, commercial, and personal lines of insurance, is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join their teamThis role is integral to managing the renewal process of each account, handling everything from A to Z, except outbound calls for new business.
The ideal candidate will excel in a relationship-driven environment, focusing on cross-selling, up-selling, and handling referrals for new businessThis position offers a blend of in-office and remote work, tailored for someone who is already seasoned in the nuances of personal lines account management within an independent agency setting.
Job ResponsibilitiesManage the entire renewal process for each account, encompassing all aspects from beginning to end.
Engage in marketing activities and negotiate with carriers.
Process certificates and endorsements, issue ID cards, and bind policies.
Focus on cross-selling and up-selling, taking on referrals and writing new business.
Work in a blended office environment, with potential remote work days upon proving competency.
Qualifications Extensive experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager, specifically within an independent agency.
Familiarity with carriers such as Mutual of Enumclaw, Progressive, Nationwide, Safeco, Cincinnati, American Modern, Grainge, Travelers, CHUBB, and PURE.
Strong understanding of the insurance industryAbility to work independently and in a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
